Toronto, ON (August 19, 2010) – As the official broadcaster of The Santa Claus Parade, CTV along with CP24 and CHUM FM, roll out the welcome mat for a summer visit from the big man himself next Thursday, August 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.. A public party at CTV’s Queen Street West parking lot, Summer with Santa @ 299 Presented by Allan Candy kicks off the three-month countdown to one of the world’s largest parades.

Where: 299 Queen Street West, CTV Parking Lot

When: Thursday, August 26 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET

What: Santa Claus in person, lots of prizes, an official parade float on loan from the North Pole, Santa’s own live band, celebrity clowns giving out free candy, a bouncy castle, delicious Shopsy’s Deli fare, free ice cream provided by Loblaws, free fresh fruit from Metro, Sony PlayStations, and much more.

The Santa Claus Parade airs coast-to-coast on CTV and live in Toronto on CP24 on November 21, 2010 with the 106th annual edition.
