CTV Program Alert - Four Communities Selected as Canada AM’s Community Challenge Winners

CTV’s Canada AM announced this week the winning entries for the Wake up a Winner Community Challenge. Bathurst, New Brunswick, Merritt British Columbia, Perth, Ontario and Saint-Boniface, Manitoba have all been selected from among hundreds of communities to have Canada AM’s Jeff Hutcheson join them for breakfast during a live broadcast.

Canada AM will be in Bathurst on September 7; Saint-Boniface on September 13; Perth, on September 21 and in Merritt on September 28.

Earlier this summer, communities across Canada were invited to nominate their city or town for a chance to shine on a national stage. Hundreds of submissions were received with communities sending everything from videos and scrapbooks to homemade jams and original songs.

“We are thrilled that so many people wanted to share their communities with the rest of Canada,” said Hutcheson. “Each submission really captured the sprit of their community. This is my favourite time of year and I can’t wait to visit Bathurst, Merritt, Saint-Boniface and Perth this fall”

Wake up to the world of Canada AM, television's morning star and Canada's most watched national morning newsmagazine. Co-hosts Beverly Thomson and Seamus O'Regan along with Jeff Hutcheson and Marci Ien bring Canadians a unique blend of hard news and lifestyle stories featuring in-depth interviews with top newsmakers, celebrities and musical stars. Lis Travers is the Vice-President and Executive Producer for Canada AM and Robert Hurst is President of CTV News.
