CTV Programming Highlights: Jan. 5 – 15

Elka (Betty White) has gone missing and the women look for her in Amish country. Meanwhile, Joy (Jane Leeves) is a source of scandal as the Governor’s alleged mistress and faces deportation while Victoria (Wendie Mallick) finds herself a little too at home with the Amish.
9 p.m. – THE L.A. COMPLEX – “Down in LA” – SERIES PREMIERE
The hot new original drama THE L.A. COMPLEX premieres in a special super-simulcast with MuchMusic. During the first episode of this sexy six-part, hour-long drama, Abby (Cassie Steele) is evicted, broke and desperate in Los Angeles, and finds a place to crash at “The Lux” motel in Hollywood, California. There, she meets a group of like-minded, displaced dreamers. After a series of missed opportunities, mishaps, and a broken-down vehicle, Abby starts to wonder if it’s time to go back to Toronto and give up her dreams, or if tomorrow will be her day? The series continues on MuchMusic.

A routine investigation into a college student's death takes a disturbing turn for Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) when a suspect makes a dangerous move to outwit her memory.

In MISS CONGENIALITY, FBI agent Gracie Heart (Academy Award®-winner Sandra Bullock, The Blind Side) must go undercover in the Miss United States beauty pageant to prevent a group from bombing the event.

8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Shiny Trinket Manoeuvre” – NEW EPISODE
Sheldon (Jim Parsons) gets in trouble with Amy (Mayim Bialik) when he isn't impressed by her recent accomplishment. Meanwhile, Howard (Simon Helberg) must come to grips with Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) dislike of children.

A home invasion investigation becomes more complicated when the victim's family turns out to be less perfect than they originally seem.
9 p.m. – GRIMM – “Game Orge” – NEW EPISODE
An escapee returns to Portland seeking revenge against those who put him behind bars. His unusual strength and high tolerance for pain makes Nick (David Giuntoli) take notice. As the case escalates Nick and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) are put in danger, and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) is called into action to help put an end to the convict's deadly rampage.

During the most glamorous dinner party of the year, the biggest stars gather to celebrate excellence in the television and film industry. The three-hour live event will also present the Cecil B. DeMille Award to ACADEMY AWARD®-winning actor Morgan Freeman for his outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry.
