NHL ON TSN’s James Duthie Recognized with Excellence in Sports Broadcasting Award By Sports Media Canada

Toronto, ON (October 3, 2011) – NHL ON TSN’s James Duthie was honoured with the Excellence in Sports Broadcasting award at today’s Sports Media Canada awards ceremony. Duthie was recognized for his work as host of TSN’s extensive NHL coverage.

Duthie was also honoured last month with his third Gemini Award, winning Best Host or Interviewer in a Sports Program or Sportscast, for hosting this year’s NHL ALL-STAR FANTASY DRAFT. At the 2009 and 2010 Gemini Awards, Duthie was named Best Sportscaster/Anchor.

On top of being good at what he does, James is a class act and a true professional. We are very proud of him for this accomplishment, but even prouder to have James on the TSN team.”
